And we’re off!!!!! The state of the art security system is in and working great! The roof has been replaced. The gutters are going in today. The house is spotless!!! We’ve installed Smart light bulbs and we have programed them to go on/ off appropriately.

We’re a little anxious to leave the house for 3 months, but Sean will be home in 3 weeks for 5ish weeks. Between then we’ve got a neighborhood kid to mow the lawn, another to collect our mail and water our outside plants. Someone is walking through the house twice a week. We’re blessed to have awesome neighbors and friends who are willing to help.

We left this morning around 830. We’re driving to John’s home in Springfield, Illinois and spending tonight/ tomorrow with John’s family. There’s going to be a BBQ tomorrow so we can see everyone. That will be fun! Then we drive to Colorado Springs on Sunday

We both start work on Tuesday. I’ve accepted a 3 month contract at Colorado Children’s Hospital in the Recovery Room. John’s planning on dropping into the satellite Patent Office in Denver at least a few times while we’re there.
