Last weekend was our first in the Springs so we ticked off a couple of quick things from our list. First of was Manitou Springs Indian Dwellings. These structures weren’t actually built here, but were transported from other areas of Colorado. It was really cool to be able to climb in and through them. They were really tiny. Up to 3 families lived in one structure. Apparently there were different levels. They theorize vandals took out the different levels before they were discovered by archeologists.

Next up was a tour of Focus on the Family. I’ve wanted to go there since our boys were in elementary school. We listened to all the Adventure in Odyssey shows every time we were in the car. It was fun to eat in Whit’s End Cafe, see all the characters and some of the scenes from the shows.
